News + Announcements
This Thursday, April 7, the Hood Museum of Art at Dartmouth College hosts the Terra Foundation sponsored convening “Re-envisioning Histories of American Art,” with the participation of many Williams MA grads, including Austen Barron Bailly ’99, Layla Bermeo ’09, Michael Hartman ’18, and Thomas Price ’17. Natalie Dupêcher (MA ’13) shares that “Meret Oppenheim: My Exhibition, the first-ever major transatlantic retrospective of this artist, is now open at the Menil Collection. I cocurated the show with colleagues at the Kunstmuseum Bern and at MoMA, where it will travel in the fall.”
Isabel Taube (MA ’97), co-managing editor of Nineteenth Century Art Worldwide, sends news that they’ve just launched their spring 2022 issue.
RAP has released the first episode of the latest season of In the Foreground: Directed Towards How We See Ourselves: Social Art History in a Digital World with Paul B. Jaskot and Barbara McCloskey, hosted by Anne Helmreich.
